The imagery, which questions the possibilities for nature in human constructed environments, steps further away from Russian constructivism though the choices and combinations of materials and the emergence of the figurative from the abstract. The proportions and the size of the boards, the frame left around the images and the shiny circles in the middle are reminiscent of Russian Icons.
